Ferries operating inter island connections in the Seychelles

Inter Island Boats Ltd and Cat Cocos are the only two companies in the Seychelles operating between the main islands. They both own fast catamarans and have a modern and recent fleet allowing an inter island service with great comfort and ensuring punctual and safe maritime connections. The ferries of thses two private companies provide daily passenger maritime transit services between Mahe Praslin and La DIgue .

Cat Cocos

The Cat Cocos fleet with its 4 fast catamarans offers several daily trips between the 3 main islands of the Seychelles. The latest Cat Cocos fast catamaran was specially built by a world class builder and naval architect located in Australia.

ISLE OF MAHE

36 meters fast catamaran with a capacity of 400 seats, divided into 222 seats for the "Coco de Mer" class plus 12 rear seats located outside, 143 seats for the "Island Hopper" class and 23 seats for the "Lazio Lounge"class. Its cruising speed is 26.5 knots, with all comfort.

ISLE OF LA DIGUE

32 meters fast catamaran with a capacity of 300 seats, divided into 172 seats for the "Coco de Mer"class plus 12 rear seats located outside, 98 seats for the "Island Hopper" and 20 seats for the "Lazio Lounge"class. Its cruising speed is 26.5 knots, with all comfort.

ISLE OF PRASLIN

35 meters fast catamaran with a capacity of 350 seats, divided into 174 seats for the"Coco de Mer" class, 142 seats for the "Island Hopper"class and 34 seats for the "Lazio Lounge"class. Its cruising speed is 26.5 knots, with all comfort.

ISLE OF LA DIGUE II

26 meters fast catamaran with a capacity of 227 seats, divided into 163 seats for the "Coco de Mer" class, 48 seats for the "Island Hopper" class and 16 seats for the sièges "Lazio Lounge" class. Its cruising speed is 25 knots, with all comfort.

Cat Roses

The Inter Island Boats fleet operated its inter island links between Praslin and La Digue for many years with its mythical "schooners". At the time the crossing time takes 30 minutes and provided the only freight links betwen praslin and La Digue. For a few years the company has been providing connections with catamarans a little smaller than its competitor Cat Cocos but just as safe and comfortable in 15 minutes.
